100 words

Lucas Meadowcroft helps business leaders cut the busywork with AI. He is Co-Founder and CEO of Crofti, the Brisbane consultancy whose clients have cut monthly reporting from 37 days to 3, product search from 3 hours to 30 minutes, and mailbox admin by 70%. Lucas started on the IT help desk, co-founded six ventures, and was automating business processes well before AI became a headline. He speaks for Vistage Australia and New Zealand, Bond University and industry groups, always with live demos and a method the room can use the next day. He is a regular podcast guest and publishes a weekly video delivered by his own AI twin.

MC introduction

Keynote, 30 to 45 minutes

Most businesses start AI adoption with a subscription and end it with a dashboard nobody opens. Lucas flips the order. He walks the room through the process-first method his team uses with clients: interview every staff member, map where the hours go, pick the one task that hurts most, automate that, then build out. Includes the client who cut monthly reporting from 37 days to 3, and what they did with the $236,000 it freed up.

The Busywork Audit: 12 Jobs AI Should Already Be Doing in Your Business

Workshop, 90 minutes to half a day. Best for peer groups and leadership teams.

A hands-on session built on the pattern Lucas sees in almost every business, whatever the industry: report writing, data entry, shared mailboxes, compliance paperwork, tender prep, product lookups. Each participant maps their own busiest process, scores it on hours and pain, and leaves with a ranked list and a first automation scoped. Live demos throughout, including AI agents triaging a live mailbox and a report built in 15 minutes.

Meet My Digital Twin: AI Agents, Avatars and What They Actually Do Today

Keynote or after-dinner, 20 to 40 minutes. Works for mixed and non-technical audiences.

Lucas opens with his own AI twin delivering the first minute of the talk, then takes the room through what agents and avatars can do right now: marketing, onboarding, training, customer replies, sales follow-up. Then the honest part: what they cannot do, where the human has to stay, and how leaders should think about the next decade of their own role. He brought it to Vistage in Adelaide, and it shapes his keynote at Bond University’s AI After Dark in November 2026.
